Objective
To create a unique and eye-catching magazine ad for your craft beer brand, using 1 or more of the packaged bottles.
Process
This was one of my favourite projects to work on because everything came to me so quick. I was told that we could go in any direction we wanted as long as 1 of the 3 flavours appeared in the ad itself. I was having a hard time picking which one would work best when all of a sudden it hit me, I needed to use all 3 of them. In hockey, when someone scores 3 goals, it’s called a hat trick. The tagline worked so well that I didn’t want to go in any other direction. I had alot of fun photomanipulating the background to get it perfect for this ad. The one thing I struggled with was making sure everything was at the same perspective. I needed to have the hats in the background sized perfectly or it would throw everything off. Another problem I ran into was finding different hats to use for the background. I ended up using the same 2 hats, but editing them in Photoshop to make them look different from each other. The rest of the process was smooth and I am very proud of the end product.
