Objective
To create a unique movie poster for a made-up movie, using photo-bashing and photo manipulation.
Process
This is by far one of my favourite projects I’ve worked on using Adobe Photoshop. Photobashing and manipulating is very time-consuming but very fun and worthwhile. My movie was about a girl and a cursed mirror. From the very beginning, I was picturing a creepy forest with lots of fog. I knew I wanted to have the girl incorporated within the mirror, hence her reflection. I was having trouble with the placement of everything. I went back and forth between different layouts until I found the one that worked for me. I liked the idea of having the mirror standing on rocks, so the view of the girl in the mirror was clear. I wanted it to have that creepy vibe but kept making the entire scene too dark. After lots of back and forth, I finally finished it and am very proud of the final product.
